I have just completed work on KeenerSprings.com! Keener Springs is a little piece of heaven. Keener Springs is just 13.5 miles North of Poplar Bluff in southeast Missouri, in between St. Louis and Memphis.  Keener features lodging at the Spring House as well as swimming and canoeing on the Black River.

Keener Springs is rich in history, dating back to 1872 when it was established as a mill. Keener Springs gets is name from the natural spring that pumps up to  27,800,000 gallons per day.

My new clients, Lee & Robin, owners of Keener Spring, were kind enough to invite us down for a visit! We visited the property, took some photos and did a little boating.

Although it was not always known as Keener Springs, the area was established as a mill in 1872. Between 1920 - 1950’s Keener was the place to be. Musicians from Glenn Miller to Tommy Dorset performed at Keener Resort. My grandmother even remembers going to Keener with her class in high school.

Currently, Keener Springs only has one cabin open from rental. Check out their listing at VRBO. In the future Lee and Robin plan to open more cabins as they are renovated. They are also going to have canoe rentals!
